For dentists and dental hygienists, the license renewal starts 3 years before your license expires. For example, if your license expires on September 30, 2024, revert back 3 years to October 1, 2021. Your registration period is from October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2024. You can find your license expiration date on the permit or here through the NYS Education Department's website.
